A test-bench for investigation and comparison of different scintillators
Keywords:

A stand for studying and comparing the properties of various scintillators is described. The stand includes several photoelectronic multipliers, a light-tight chamber for the studied scintillation samples (including liquid ones), a muon telescope, a controlled LED backlight, a set of radioactive sources and electronics for signal processing. The stand allows measuring the response function of the scintillators under study to irradiation with α-particles, electrons, γ-rays and neutrons of various energies, as well as cosmic muons.
