Statistics of birth pions from the hadron “fireball”

Abstract

The statistics of the birth of pions in the processes of inelastic hadron-hadron collisions at high energies are studied. It is assumed that the multiple birth of particles occurs as a result of the process of hadronization of the quark-gluon "fireball". Based on the two selected quantum states of the "fireball" - the state of thermal equilibrium and the coherent state - statistical distributions for the number of pions are calculated.
