Abstract

The stability of the separation efficiency of the MASHA setup was studied under high current conditions and long-term experiments. The system of solid-state separation of volatile products of fusion reactions was optimized, a new design of a “solid-state hot catcher” based on thin layers of graphene and carbon nanotubes was designed and tested. The experiments showed the possibility of using these materials at a heavy ion beam intensity~ 0.5 part ·
